Building and using a basic water-saving shower is very easy. All you need is a small metal pot, some string and a place to attach it. Drill some holes in the metal pot. Attach both handles to stable strings. Tie the strings on above-head level to some stable pole or the like. For some privacy you can build a shower cabin around it. Outdoors it is easy to make with some poles and some clothes.
To use this kind of water-saving shower you just need to bring half a bucket full of water. If you live in a warm country, you can let the water bucket stand outside in the sun for a couple of hours to heat up the water. Even easier, faster and warmer is to let a black water hose sit in the sun. There are many ways to heat up water…
Then you just take a cup, pour some water in the above-head level pot and let the water drip all over your body. Enjoy!
