Purpose: MGI Consultants Kenya is a Kenyan registered social business. It is a Business Development Services (BDS) provider offering consultancy services in Renewable Energy, Information and Computer Technology (ICT), and Business Development. Founded on the principle of community empowerment, MGI Consultants Kenya has a big heart for the community and follows the social corporate responsibility approach. The focus is on raising profiles of local communities and youths by providing platforms for expression to be heard as well as offering alternative solutions for self-sustenance.
Projects: MGI Debate Series – a debate platform that gives rural-based students a possibility to express themselves through written and spoken word. Over 5.000 students have participated in this program for the last two years and MGI took 100 students to debate across East Africa in Uganda and Rwanda.
MGI Solar Project – this project seeks to build a solar micro-grid providing 200kW of clean energy to provide electricity to 150 homes, 5 clinics, and 10 schools in Western Kenya that are currently not connected to the national power grid.

Volunteering: Possible, however, no financial support can be provided, help with finding accommodation in Nairobi possible

Funding: Income from consultancy fee and donations from private and corporate donors for the social projects
