My New Home in Kitale

My New Home in Kitale

My new home in Kitale is a bungalow in the African Theological Seminary. The place is heavily influenced by American evangelists. And Melinda Gates is actually coming here next week. However, it is a very comfortable place: I live in a bungalow with a kitchen. My bedroom has an adjacent bathroom. The bungalow is situated in a nice, green park and it is well protected.

Kitchen & Bedroom

The kitchen is equipped with all kinds of electronics: a fridge, a microwave, an oven, a water kettle, two toasters and a gas cooker that works with a gas bottle. My bedroom is very comfortable. It has a lot of storage space, a moskito net over the bed and even a desk where I can work on my laptop. The internet connection here is really good. The internet cafés in the city, however, have only a very slow connection with many viruses.

Cafeteria

Outside, there is a cafeteria which sells very cheap food. Yesterday, I went there in the afternoon and got a big cookie-like baked thing with a coffee for only 25 Kenyan Shillings, which is about 25 Euro cents.

It’s a safe and quiet place.

It is my pleasure to show you around my new home in this little video. Come on in.
